Our carbon steel welding wire filler is optimized for general fabrication and repair applications. Our DevShield 7018 is a carbon steel SMAW filler that meets A5.1 (E7018) certification. We also offer a flux-cored option in DevTek 71-12 which is both AWS A5.20 (E71T-12MJ) and A5.20 (E71T-1M) certified. DevTek 71-12’s low-alloy chemistry allows it to exhibit industry-leading notch toughness at extreme temperatures of -60F.
